Another Draw for Man United

Everton battled from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Goodison Park.

Darren Fletcher’s well-taken goal had given the visiting champions the lead at half-time, but Marouane Fellaini’s second-half header earned the home side a share of the points.

United went ahead on 22 minutes after the highly impressive Ryan Giggs’s through ball found Fletcher in the Everton box.

The Scotland international good first touch saw him take the ball on the run before firing a low shot across goalkeeper Tim Howard for his third goal of the season.

Everton struggled to offer much of an attacking threat in the first half, but toothless as they were before the break, they came out after half-time with a lot more purpose and got their just reward on 63 minutes. Read more

Udinese had no pity for Tottenham.

Tottenham miserable run on form continues specially after Udinese win of 2-0 for UEFA cup.

The second placed Serie A Udinese started to win their match with a penalty kick that Antonio Di Natale coverted to goal.

Jamie O’Hara collected two yellow cards in a minute for tackles on Alexis Sanchez in the second half to see red and leave manager Juan de Ramos in further trouble.

Substitute Simone Pepe made sure late on when he finished a breakaway move after excellent work by the impressive Fabio Quagliarella. Read more

Portsmouth punished in Portugal

UEFA cup, Portsmouth took a pounding from Sporting de Braga of 3-0.

Luis Aguiar fired a fabulous 30 yard free kick in the eight minute of the game and opened the goal account, sfter half time Renteria scored the second one and just three minutes before the ninety minutes Alan pounced to the final goal for Braga.

Manager Harry Redknapp looked a depressed figure but he must now lift his troops for three Premier League matches in seven days starting with Fulham on Sunday.

Portsmouth had reached the group stages thanks to a nerve-testing 2-2 draw three weeks ago just down the road from Braga against neighboring Vitoria Guimarães, who, on paper are a superior side to Braga. Read more

After a poor game this weekend for Italy Serie A, Jventus come back with an astonishing win over Real Madrid for Champions League.

A fifth minute wonder strike from Captain Alessandro Del Piero gave the Bianconeri the lead and Carvalho Amauri added a second-half header.

Ruud Van Nistelroy met a Gabriel Heiz cross to reduce the deficit in the 66th minute but Claudio Ranieri’s well-organized defence held firm to leapfrog the Spanish champions in the table. Read more

Too Easy for Bayern Munchen to Beat Fiorentina

Bayern Munchen easily won Fiorentina for the Champions League on Tuesday by 3-0

After four minutes of the match Bayern was already winning thanks to Miroslav Klose’s goal. Still on the first half Bastian Schweinsteiger made the second goal and on the ninetieth minute Ze Roberto made the certain victory.

Even if Bayern was a lethal weapon in front, on the defence things were a little different, constant mistakes were made on the back but luck was in their way and Felipe could only shoot a weak kick in the first half.

With three games played, Bayern lead the group with seven points, ahead of Olympique Lyon on five. Fiorentina have two points and Steaua Bucharest one. Read more

5 star Arsenal Beat Fenerbahce

The Gunners still has everything needed to achieve success this season.

After an incredible win on the previous match against Porto for Champions league, Arsenal does it again
5-2 is the score of Arsenal-Fenerbahce match on Tuesday night.

Cesc Fabregas, in the beginning of the match and within 70 seconds passed two balls that came out as goal, the first one to Adebayor and the second one to Walcott.

By winning 2-0 Fenerbahce only reduced to 2-1 with a own goal from Silvestre and practically immediately the Tasmanian Devil, Abou Diaby gave the advantage to the Gunners again. Read more

In English Premier League (ELP) things are shaping up.

After each game we are watching who’s going to fight for the title and who’s going to need to do a lot to keep up.

It is clear that Chelsea is the team that shows more fire power even if all favourites for the title won yesterday.

Chelsea crushed Middleborough by 5-0, Arsenal avoided disaster on the second half wining Everton by 3-1, Rooney inspired Manchester United in a impressive victory of 4-0 in last 20 minutes over West Bromwich and Liverpool defeated Wigan by 3-2. Read more

Christiano Ronaldo did leave critics and fans stunned last year, reigning in the goal scoring front, but Sir Alex Fergusson certainly knows how to manage his team and enhance personal development for winning players.

With Christiano having started to season with injury status and a lot of other Manchester United players warming the benches at the start of the Premier League season, Wayne Rooney has emerged a winner.

Of course he’s a good player and there’s been enough public outcry this season for playing him in too many positions which is an obvious result of Berbatovs inclusion in the Manchester United squad. Read more
