Kimi Raikonnen, 2008

With Kimi Raikonnen being out of the championship this year, it sure did wipe the smile off many faces.

There’s too many F1 fans that root for Kimi because of his driving style and ability to be a surprise winner every now and then even if he does not start at the top.

Being out of contention certainly is sad but that hasn’t dampened this Ferrari driver’s spirit who promises to come back in a big way next year.

However, Raikonnen did have something to say about the Japanese Grand prix which in reality did put him out of contention. With just 2 races remaining, Kimi is 21 points behind race leader Lewis Hamilton. Read more
